Dorking U13s spent last weekend on tour in Tyneside, taking on strong opposition from across the region including Penrith, Percy Park, Northern, Tynedale, Durham and Blaydon. All teams were their regional champions.

It was a weekend of fiercely competitive rugby, with our 45 touring players doing the club proud on and off the field. The squad went unbeaten across all fixtures and capped the trip by winning Sunday’s tournament.

More importantly, it was a weekend of brilliant memories and new friendships that will last well beyond the pitch.

A huge thank you to our Tyneside hosts for such a warm welcome, and to U14 coaches Mike Maddick and Mark Davey for organising a fantastic tour.

That is now 3 years of unbeaten tour rugby
