Dorking U12s
Waterfall Cup Finals held at Camberley RFC - 24th April
2022
Report for Team Blue
An outstanding collective effort at Camberley by Dorking blue meant we ran out victors 7-1
From the very first kick off Dorking set the tone and dominated the first contact.
In the first half Effingham had more of the ball, but a resolute defence across the pitch meant they couldn’t break through. A number of turnovers were made due to aggressive defence, and In contrast to Effingham, when Dorking won ball, we effectively went through the phases and scored some wonderful team tries.
The second half followed the same pattern with all the core values of Dorking Rugby being displayed. More tries followed along with a few more close attempts, but still the intensity in defence remained and only on the last play of the game did Effingham score.
Support, commitment and determination across the team was outstanding and all the boys deserved all the plaudits they received at the end for a wonderful effort.
Tries scores by Jago, Zach, George D (2) Willougby and Euan (2)

Report from For team Aqua
Dorking U12s Aqua drew 3-3 against Sutton & Epsom in the main Cup final. It was a tough and nail biting contest that went to the wire! The boys were brilliant and gave it their all and were unlucky not too win it outright, , but in the end pleased to share the spoils - great tough contest of rugby between both sides exhibiting all the TREDS.
