About Dorking Rugby Football Club
Formed in 1921, Dorking Rugby Club is a leading Surrey rugby club. Years of dedication and hard work on and off the pitch have been rewarded by unprecedented levels of success for Dorking Rugby Football Club. The heroic efforts of our 1st XV, combined with a strong support team of coaches, physios, supporters and sponsors, took DRFC to the top spot in the London and South East Division 1 League in 2013. We put our heart and soul into our National League 2 South debut, finishing the 2014-2015 season in 4th position. A result to be proud of, but our sights are set even higher for the future. We are now one of the top 70 clubs in the country. An achievement made even more remarkable by the fact that the Red and Whites is charity run and none of our players receive payment from the club.
Fielding 4 Senior sides, with 1st XV currently plays rugby in National League 2 South (making in one of the top 70 Clubs in the country); with a youth and mini section to be proud of for boys and girls, aged 5 to 18 with over 500 children
Throughout the club, Dorking ideals reflect the RFU’s core values of:
Whilst we are ambitious, we also have a strong family ethos, derived from a commitment to youth rugby for all age groups.
